Be part of an exciting moment with the Grand Rapids Symphony. On April 19, four finalists will lead a free community concert as part of the Symphony’s Assistant Conductor search at East Kentwood High School auditorium. You’ll hear great music from Mozart and Beethoven to John Williams, and you’ll see how conductors shape the sound of an orchestra in real time. Each finalist brings a different style, interpretation, and energy to the podium.  

EVENT DETAILS:

When: Sunday April 19, 2026, AT 7:30 PM  

Where: East Kentwood High School Auditorium, 6230 Kalamazoo Ave SE, Grand Rapids, Ml 49508 

Tickets: This concert is free to attend, and no tickets are required. However, we kindly ask that you RSVP in advance to secure your spot, as space may be limited.
